Les soutiens de Maryam Radjavi manifestent mercredi 27 janvier place Denfert-Rochereau contre la venue du président iranien à Paris

FIGAROVOX / TRIBUNE - Hassan Rouhani is on an official visit to Paris. The Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi protests against the regime of President of the Islamic Republic, where the number of executions is the highest in the world

Maryam Rajavi, president-elect is the National Council of Resistance of Iran which calls for the establishment of a "democratic Iran, secular and non-atomic."
Maryam Rajavi
The barbarism that swept the world in the name of Islam prevalent in Iran for 37 years. Today, my country Iran displays the rate of executions per inhabitants the highest in the world. In December, the UN General Assembly expressed its concern at the upsurge of hangings in Iran. It called for an end to "the law and practice" to the restrictions of freedom of expression and belief, discrimination and violations of rights of women and minorities. In my country, referring to the law, women are stoned to death, deprived of freely choosing their clothes and on the pretext that they are "mal-veiling" is thank you to the risk of persecution and even the acid attacks , teenagers are sentenced to death and an absolute intolerance rampant. To date, there are 120,000 political executions. This behavior is diametrically opposed to the Iranian culture and civilization. It also contradicts the true message of Islam under cover of which the leaders in Iran are engaged in all these horrors. This barbarism of another time that is sweeping the world under the name of Islam, rampant in Iran for 37 years, a decade in Iraq and in recent years has spread to Syria and the entire region. This barbarism of another time that is sweeping the world under the name of Islam, rampant in Iran for 37 years, a decade in Iraq and in recent years has spread to Syria and the entire region. But the attacks in Paris committed in the name of God is a bitter warning that the threat of Islamist extremism is no longer limited in the Middle East. This design combines the ancient barbarism in modern fascism. It does not support the political and religious diversity and more to advocate misogyny and violence, seeks to exalt. Its aim is to impose Sharia by force and merciless punishment. Since coming to power in 1979, Khomeini has taken on the repression of freedoms in Iran and export of Islamic fundamentalism abroad. While creating their own style theocracy in Iran, the mullahs managed to hijack the democratic countries with embassies outlets, including kidnappings of Westerners in Lebanon French, bomb attacks especially in streets Paris, fatwas of death and murder. Thus the first contemporary fatal caliphate was built thirty years before the emergence of Daech, noting in its Constitution, to impose the project - including by force - its design to the entire Muslim world . However, the mullahs and Daech, have no difference in the basis of their convictions, namely the establishment of a religious power to implement Sharia by force. Khomeini and planted the seed by establishing absolute power of the Supreme Leader as a perfect model by which Islamic fundamentalists can gain momentum, power and authority. This virus has developed to the point of pushing Sunni extremists as Daech to wonder why they could not also create their own caliphate. Especially when they see the Shiite fundamentalists are courted by the West, which makes them complacent. In response to the recent acts of barbarism can lose some logic and misleading. For example, they argue that the Shia fundamentalists would be less dangerous than the Sunni fundamentalists. Consequently, they make the mullahs' allies in the fight against Daech. However, the mullahs and Daech, have no difference in the basis of their convictions, namely the establishment of a religious power to implement Sharia by force. In addition, there exists between them a political convergence: Daech that targeted France to several thousand kilometers, maintains in practice a kind of cease-fire with the IRGC mullahs in its vicinity in Iraq and Syria. Saver Daech their part, the Revolutionary Guards are involved in a ruthless war against the moderate opposition in Syria and ethnic cleansing of Sunni populations in Iraq. With the help of some "local lobbies," it's been years that the mullahs drive the Western governments running after the mirage of "reform" and "moderation" within the regime. Certainly a struggle for power and serious infighting undermines this theocracy. But it is not about differences in doctrine or in the worldview or between "hard" and "moderate". Both factions aspire only to save the regime of the "Supreme Guide", namely "Islamic caliphate". The struggle for power does not translate anything but the inability of the regime to resolve the social crisis and the fear of a general revolt burst. To extremism, there is nothing more dangerous than the cause of freedom and democracy. This is what leaves clearly the repressive tactics of the mullahs who are mainly Muslim democrats currents, including the People's Mojahedin of Iran. Today some use Mullah Hassan Rouhani as a showcase of moderation. But just ask him whether he is for or against executions. Why under its mandate, Iran he deplores the highest number of executions. Ask him if he is ready to announce that stonings and amputations are inhuman and contrary to Islam. Ask him what he thinks of Hezbollah, the other terrorist groups, Bashar Assad and the massacre of 300,000 Syrians? His record speaks for itself. He clearly announced that executions comply "either to divine law is the law passed" within his regime. Did he not supported the suppression of the 2009 revolt, calling it "defense of the regime and the Supreme Leader"? He still considers Assad as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people, it is also the one who, on December 31, ordered his defense minister "to continue missile production program quickly and seriously." To extremism, there is nothing more dangerous than the cause of freedom and democracy. This is what leaves clearly the repressive tactics of the mullahs who are mainly Muslim democrats currents, including the People's Mojahedin of Iran. People who with their faith in Islam, advocate the separation of religion and state, equality of women and men, freedom and the abolition of the mullahs' Sharia and therefore can make sterile all-terrain development of extremism, Iran and Iraq and Syria. Besides the security measures of military campaigns and intelligence operations to effectively succeed, we must strengthen the democratic and tolerant interpretation of Islam, its true message. It is only through a clear strategy, providing moral and practical ongoing support to the peoples of Iran and the region who aspire to freedom, that we can avoid falling back into the darkest period of history.
